Our History

How it all started

The history of our Christmas tree ornaments began in 1991, when Mr. Jaroslav Hejduk And Miloš Němec founded the company HAN Ltd. that at the beginning of its operation cooperated with the Art Production Cooperative from Dvůr Králové nad Labem. Over time, the company established close contacts with other business partners and began exporting their collections abroad. Due to the ever-growing interest in our ornaments, the company set up its own showroom directly on the premises of its headquarters and all customers – both existing and new – began to travel to Jičín to choose their collections. And this has been the case until nowadays.

The beginning of 2020 brought a lot of changes to the company. In March, Mrs. Martina Němcová, the daughter of one of the founders, became the owner of the company. With her arrival, the original name changed and the HAN Design s.r.o. brand was created, together with a new logo and new communication style. 


However, the respect for our traditions, production processes and our customers and business partners remains unchanged.
